Shopify Commerce+ 2021: Going Global and Digital
Since 2018, Commerce+ has been a space for the fastest-growing brands to connect, share insights, and explore what’s next in commerce. In 2021, we took a new approach—opening up the once-exclusive event to aspiring and growing brands worldwide. The result? A digital-first experience featuring Shopify products and stories from leaders like Humanrace founder Pharrell Williams, BIGFACE founder and NBA star Jimmy Butler, and Bombas CMO Kate Huyett.

Our team created an end-to-end content and campaign experience—from the event identity to the pre- and post-event landing pages, emails, paid social, Google search ads, internal newsletters, and more.

The result?
90K+ total registrants (just shy of the 100K goal)
34K new-to-Shopify emails (exceeding the 10K target)
557 free trials (211% of our original goal)
