Margarita of the Year

Each year Patrón Tequila invites bartenders from across the world to remix the classic margarita we all know and love into something inspired by their hometown. After months of intense regional competition, only eight contenders go on to face off in a battle to earn the most votes from Patrón's loyal fanbase. In 2019 we brought the competition to life across various platforms from the U.S. to key internationally syndicated markets through content, social media, and digital advertising. After two months and over 4 million votes, the Dynasty Margarita from Hong Kong was named the 2019 Margarita of the Year.
